We had a grand send off with a prayer and our Francigena Passports, from
Canterbury with Canon Christopher Irvine and his entourage.
If only I had had the camera at the ready, we saw Fr Michael leaving the
Ladies Loo - but needs must. We used the Gents!! So this is how it is
going to be.
Mikes cycled part of way to the Channel Tunnel and we arrived with 2 minutes
to spare.
Unfortunately Mike Claridge has a dicky tummy.
Whilst the bikers rode Denese and myself went to an enclosed Benedictine
monastery to get the Passports stamped and found ourselves attending, with
30+ monks, none followed by the start of Exposition.
