Malcolm and Denese drove to the agreed rendezvous point but waited an hour and no sign of anyone. Eventually we received a phone call asking us to meet them on the road to Pontalier.
However we discovered them relaxing in a cafe.
They said that they had just gone up and come down this hill !!

When the question was asked if Mike Carney shaved his legs to give him more speed, Mike Claridge said he had observed when riding behind Fr Michael that the girls all look at his (Fr Michael's) legs. Fr Michael's reply was that he knew he had a fine arse !!
When Malcolm went to get some food from the van he stumbled and head butted the menu board and cracked it with no apparent damage to him. No sense or feeling there then !
